A Midsummer Garden’s Dream
This workshop will cover garden maintenance and management in the summer. We’ll dream of how it might look in the fall (and discuss how to get there), but we’ll actually deal with the reality of summer vegetable gardens in Central Texas – pests, heat, disease. We will discuss organic fertilization, pests & pest control options, cover crops & soil maintenance in the heat, and more. This workshop will be taught in Amy’s backyard garden and is designed for people that have at least one season of food gardening experience.
