Consultation, Design & Installation
Consultations include a walk through and discussion of your vegetable garden and (edible) landscape. The consultation may include plant identification, soil testing, organic pest control options, drainage solutions, patio suggestions, design sketches and other ideas for your yard. Amy is a hands-on consultant and would be happy to show you how to prune, dig, plant, harvest, and manage your garden or landscape as well. She can also advise you on backyard chickens, honeybees and composting!
Amy can also do a comprehensive vegetable garden or edible landscape design for your space. Edible garden designs range in cost from $100 to $1000 depending on the size and scope of the project. Once a design is completed, Amy can help you with your garden installation.
Backyard Workshops
Amy teaches organic food growing workshops in her own backyard garden and would love to teach a workshop in your yard too! There are many advantages to hosting a workshop in your yard. In the workshop, we will design a vegetable garden or edible landscape for your space and we will even dig a small garden for you. Other workshop topics include composting, garden planning, preparing & planting the garden, backyard chickens and more. Garden Mentoring & Maintenance
As your mentor or “coach”, Amy will work with you in your edible garden. No matter what stage you are at in your gardening adventures, she can jump right in and give you a helping hand along with some advice. She can meet with you weekly, monthly, every few months or whatever fits your schedule and budget!
